Starksy and Hutch Update

Dear sponsor, thank you so much for your unwavering support. We apologise that it has been such a long time since our last updates. We have recently launched our new website and have been working to ensure that everything is correct. We have also had a shortage of volunteers but we now have our fantastic office team up and running again. Now for the update on our wonderful Starksy and Hutch.

Since Starksy and Hutch have come to Tenerife Horse Resuce they have had so many different people to play with. They get a lot of attention here and are a highlight to the visitors who come on tours. Recently we have had one of our volunteers make an outdoor play area for the ferrets. Volunteers can take them out of their enclosure and play with them there. Sylva, the volunteer who made it, is a civil engineer. As you can imagine, it’s quite a creative area for them. As well as this, we have another volunteer currently building a new enclosure for Starksy, Hutch and the other ferrets. This will be less of an enclosure and more of a palace. It will be big enough that people can go inside, stand up, play with them and give them lots of love and attention. We really love having our ferrets, they are great fun to play with when they’re not trying to chase after some rabbits.
