How To Donate to animal charity
We are hoping that our next big project can be to raise enough money to buy the neighbouring land where we can build a really big retirement paddock for older and sick horses. This is something that does not to this day exist on Tenerife. Land is limited and expensive meaning that horses are almost always kept in stables and rooms not allowing them to move freely as they should. We would like to help put an end to this and in the not so distant future bring in enough funds to make this happen.
If you would like to donate directly to our animal charity we have many ways in which you can do so.
Make a Difference
We've also made many mistakes and we have bled and cried ... But what we have achieved so far is much bigger than we had imagined"
Running an animal rescue centre like ours is hard work and means that our team are continually working 24/7 to ensure that the rescue animals are happy, healthy, well-fed and cared for. This means we often have little time left in the day to take care of the essential technical, business-related or fund-raising aspects that allow the rescue centre to function day-to-day, and hopefully thrive and develop in the future. If you are a social-media or fund-raising master, a marketing or accounting guru, or have construction, electrical, plumbing or any other helpful skills and wish to donate your efforts to our cause, we’re always grateful for any help and guidance you can provide. Whatever time or expertise you can spare, please contact us via social media or via email @ [email protected]
Even if you don’t have any spare time or funds to donate, you can still make a huge difference to the animal sanctuary using just your smart-phone or computer. The more people know and understand our mission, the more help and funds we are able to generate, so the simple act of visiting our social media pages then following, liking or sharing our posts means we reach more people and can help more animals that desperately require our assistance.
People often ask us “What’s next?” and we know that our work will never stop. As the only registered horse and animal rescue centre on Tenerife we need your help to expand and grow, so we can offer places and aid to as many animals as possible. There’s always work to do improving our facilities and as we progress we have plans to expand the site into adjoining plot so we can house and care for more horses, dogs, cats, chicken, ducks and any other animal that needs our help. Our goal is to end the suffering of unwanted or maltreated animals on Tenerife for good, but in order to do this we need more space, volunteers and of course money too.
