Mac Update

Dear sponsor, thank you so much for your unwavering support. We apologise that it has been such a long time since our last updates. We have recently launched our new website and have been working to ensure that everything is correct. We have also had a shortage of volunteers but we now have our fantastic office team up and running again. Now for the update on our wonderful Mac.

Mac is such a sweet dog here at the rescue. He used to spend the majority of his time under the community kitchen table. Volunteers used to constantly try and get him out on walks but he never wanted to go, or when he would it would be a short 10 minute walk. However, the community has now decided to keep the dogs out of the community kitchens and it has been the best thing to happen to Mac. He has moved up to living with the owners and all their other animals. He has now fallen in love with one of our volunteers, Klara. She started taking him on small walks but now he roams around the finca all day, completely happy. He is like a new dog with so much more energy. The reason Mac was abandoned was because he was in a family with children and as he aged, he developed arthritis and couldn’t play as much any more. Mac is such a lovely dog that it is a shame he was given up because of something out of his control. When he got to us he was very sad and had pain from arthritis so that is why he lived under the table. Mac is doing fantastic now though, we never give up on our animals and Mac now plays and walks like any other dog here.
