Poor Lukas has actually been in the vets since the day he arrived. We sent him for 2 reasons; firstly because he was suffering with extreme issues caused by fly allergies. His legs were open and causing a lot of pain. It was impossible for us to touch his legs as he became very stressed and aggressive so we needed some sedation to start his treatment off. So we decided to castrate him at the same time. Fortunately we moved him straight to the vets and with the adrenaline of the move caused a shift in the gut and he has had some severe colics due to the sand. So he ended up spending 3 weeks in the vets fighting for his life.
