Lava is improving every day!
This sweet girl came to us very skinny, not used to being handled and very scared of people. She was only used for breeding because of her ‘fancy’ papers. Slowly she started working more with volunteers and improved gradually. While she remains still quite nervous, with a lot of patience and love we are making progress every day.
When she was gaining weight more and more, we were a bit worried that she actually could be pregnant. She was very nervous and headstrong, and often went from a calm and quiet donkey to suddenly sprinting down the road at a hundred miles an hour for no reason we could fathom, resulting in a few minor volunteer injuries.
Giving to us on a regular basis means that not only can we keep you completely in the loop as to where your money is going, and how it is being used to do good, but we will also assign you your own personal log in details to receive insider information about our project and our plans. You will be informed first of all updates, allowing you to be a closer part of our journey with us.
