We rescued Twiglet alongside our affiliates Arche Noah as he had Feline Panleukopenia Virus, which is a type of Parvovirus and they had too many unvaccinated kittens. As he was highly contagious, we quarantined him in our bathroom to safeguard our own animals. Emma had to go in three times a day to administer a drip and his medicine. With a 3% chance of survival he was cold, stiff and extremely thin but he had the most amazing little meow and pulled through!
He is now on a list of blood donors to help other cats with Feline Panleukopenia Virus. As you can see, he looked like a Tim Burton cat for for a while but he is a healthy cat now, always there at meal times to ask the volunteers for some of their food!
