Animal Rescue Fundraising

Fundraising is a very important part of the running and growth of charities, and we are no different. Tenerife Horse Rescue relies on kind donations to keep us afloat and allow us to rescue as many animals in need as possible.

There's many different options in which you could donate to one of our fundraisers or create a fundraiser for us. This may sound complicated, but I can assure that it is very simple. See below the options and hopefully one would suit you.

Facebook

This is one of the most popular social media platforms around, it is very user friendly. Almost everyone these days has a facebook platform, and the best thing is it is free so our fundraisers reach a large audience. As we are a registered charity on facebook we are allowed a donate button and an option to fundraise. In case you are a facebook user you have probably seen "birthday fundraisers" where you allowed to fundraise for your chosen charity for 2 weeks around your birthday. Perhaps you could consider us for your birthday charity. If your birthday is not coming up any time soon, don't worry you can still create a fundraiser on our behalf. Fundraising for a cause

These fundraisers are free, easy and reach far. At the end of each month all donations made via facebook come directly to our charity bank account in a lump sum. Facebook shows us the kind users running these fundraisers. But unfortunately we don't get to see who has donated personally from your friends to send a personal thank you. However, every euro is hugely appreciated.

Hopefully now you know how simple this is,  you would consider running a horse fundraiser on facebook for us. Don't forget to share them on your page and in your favourite groups.

Crowdfunding

There are many different crowdfunding platforms available online such as crowdfunding.com or kickstarter.com but we personally choose  www.gofundme.com. Crowdfunding is the practice of funding a project or venture by raising small amounts of money from a large number of people, typically via the Internet. Again these are very user friendly and the step by step guides are available on how to create your own fundraiser for us. We currently have 2 active fundraisers which you can access from the pictures below. ( right on a computer)

Fundraising Events

Last but certainly not least we have the old fashioned approach of physical fundraising in the form of events. This form of fundraising is a bit more involved and understandably is not an option for everyone. However, these events can be as big or as small as you like. In the form of a full music event in a venue or a Christmas raffle held in a salon. The options are endless and all a lot of fun for a good cause.
